July 17, 2011 the Donna from the Feathered Nest is going quilting in South Dakota. Gunderson Clinic in Lacrosse partners with Global Partners in providing health care and is expanding its services into community education. You are invited to partner with us by donating working sewing machines, fabric 100% cotton, batting, sewing supplies such as thread, scissors, cutters, ribbons, embellishments. Donna and other quilters will be spending a week sharing patterns, skills, and ideas to get a cottage industry seeded. There are several pick up sights in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois, so if you have the items, we'll get it there. Become a partner in planting seeds for quilting and friendships.
